The Mauch Chunk Opera House is a nonprofit organization and music venue that seats approximately 380 people and brings approximately 25,000 people per year to downtown Jim Thorpe and Carbon County. If you order your tickets by phone (57 or 57) be sure to request will-call. I WANT MY TICKETS HELD AT WILL CALL – If you order online, be sure to specify Will Call (beneath “Print at Home”). If you’re downtown, tickets can also be reserved at SoundCheck Records (across from the hotel) until an hour before the show. I NEED TO BUY TICKETS THE NIGHT OF THE SHOW – Tickets can be purchased at the Opera House box office 1-hour prior to performance when doors open. We recommend parking at our downtown parking facility behind the Mauch Chunk Train Station / Visitors Center. WHERE DO I PARK WHEN I GET TO TOWN – There is no parking at the Opera House. We try our best to accommodate you, but there is no guarantee that we can provide handicapped-accessible parking for all shows. HANDICAP PARKING – The Opera House is located in the historic district of old Mauch Chunk, built in the early 19th century, so parking in general is very limited. ![]() Infants are not permitted!ĭRESS CODE – The Opera House does not have a dress code, casual attire is fine for all shows.ĪLCOHOL – Yes, we serve beer, wine and mixed drinksįOOD – We serve fresh coffee, along with soft drinks, water and snacks.
